Our Doctor

​​​​​Dr. Emily Burnette grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Texas at Dallas. Then, she attended the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry and obtained her Doctorate in Optometry. She completed training in a variety of healthcare settings across Maine, Nebraska, Washington, and Texas. Dr. Burnette is ready to provide full-scope optometric care including the management of anterior and posterior segment ocular diseases, progressive myopia, and surgical co-management. Currently, she is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist in Texas. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association.

Dr. Burnette strongly believes that vision plays an important role in each person's quality of life. She aims to provide her patients with clear and comfortable vision while ensuring wonderful patient experiences. Outside of work, Dr. Burnette enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cooking.

​​​​​Meet Dr. Hannah Trinh, our eye care professional that has a passion for contact lens fitting and routine ocular screening. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of Texas in Austin, where she fell in love with the visual system. Returning to her hometown of Houston, Dr. Trinh completed her academic journey at the University of Houston College of Optometry. With a close family member having a history of a retinal detachment, she is committed to providing thorough primary eye care to protect vision and health.

In her leisure time, Dr. Trinh enjoys exploring the local foodie scene with a particular fondness for sushi, tacos, and boba tea. She recently moved to San Antonio from Houston with her husband, Alan and their two beloved pups, Zoey and Ava.
